Step 1: You are scheduled for an exam/x-ray appointment with the dentist. We check your current shade and determine if you are a candidate for whitening.

Step 2: We make sure your teeth and gums are healthy for whitening treatment ( xrays are done to confirm for no cavities) We clean your teeth to make sure your gums are free of disease and schedule your whitening appointment

Step 3: During your whitening appointment, we block your gums and apply whitening gel on your teeth and shine a high intensity light onto your teeth? .

Step 4: we check your final shade and we will go over home care instructions and you are on your way!

During a bonding, the dentist will bond composite resin that matches your tooth and shape it to its natural contour.

FAQ

DO BONDINGS LAST?

Bonding are not as long lasting as crowns or veneers as it can stain/discolor over time

I HAVE A SMALL TOOTH, CAN I GET BONDING TO MAKE IT LOOK BIGGER?

Yes, bonding is a good way to increase the size of the tooth.

CAN I WHITEN THE BONDING ON MY TOOTH?

No, the composite resin used for bonding does not whiten. It is best to whiten your teeth to your desired shade prior to getting a bonding.

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY BONDING?

Do not bite directly into anything hard with the tooth that has the bonding. Wear a sports guard if you play sports and wear a night guard if you grind your teeth. Brush and floss your tooth with the bonding as you normally would. Avoiding foods that carry heavy pigment will increase the life of your bonding,
